The Brian Boggess Group is a New York City rock band that conjures up a broad scope of classic influences, wielding sharp musical instincts and a twist of madness.

In 2012 The Brian Boggess Group independently released their first national album “Debut EP” on Midnight Snack Records. “Debut EP” is a four-song 12″ vinyl which obtained 100 college and public radio Adds across North America, and was broadcast in light, medium, and heavy rotation. The four-song record also attained a few CMJ Top 30 weekly radio station playlists.

“Debut EP” also generated positive press reviews by The Aquarian, a print feature “Vinyl of the Month” in Performer Magazine, Record Geeks, Baby Sue, and anti-Music.

Presently, The Brian Boggess Group is about to independently release their second national studio album and first full-length vinyl LP. Coming out in 2019/2020.

Brian Boggess Group’s second independent North American release and first full length 12″ vinyl album was recorded on 1/2″ and 2″ tape in 30 days between September 2015 and April 2016 with Grammy Award-winning engineer Geoff Sanoff at Little Steven Van Zandt’s private Renegade Nation studio in Greenwich Village, NYC.

Composer and post-bop pianist Mr. Jon Davis is on piano, harpsichord, and Hammond B3 organ (Jaco Pastorius, Joe Henderson, Milt Jackson, Stan Getz).

Mr. Brian Wolfe is on drums (David Byrne/St. Vincent, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, My Brightest Diamond).

Brian Boggess is on vocals, guitars, and bass.
